Google Mapping Project For Today

ALL:
Please review the information in the previous post about the Interactive Google Map.  Once you have completed the restaurant task, please complete the following:

Pick a project you are doing for another class.  Any project will do.  Find the location of the information you are working on, and place a Red Marker on the site on our map.  Please include a "RICH TEXT" format for the post, and add a picture from Google Images to go along with your posting.  An example post is already on the map from me!!  You can find it in New Albany, Indiana.  Once you have posted your note, please email me the location of your post so I can make a master list and let everyone know about the places you are studying about in our school!!

Your Assignment, at your own pace and time, is to answer the following questions (Email Me When You Have Completed These Tasks):
  • Pick 4 sites that have been posted by your peers and find the closest museum to each.
  • Pick 1 site posted by your peers and identify the city and identify when the city was founded and by who.
  • What is the major industry in a city near one of the points posted by your peers.
  • Identify at least 3 National Monuments and add your name and student ID number to a purple marker there on our map.
  • Identify a site where you would like to go on a vacation if money was no object.  Use a Yellow Marker.

Enjoy!!
