Public Service Announcement (PSA) Rubric

How will you be graded as a team?  Easy!!

Group Leaders will lead by example, keep thier team on track, and complete the assignment on time.  Team leaders are also responsible for emailing me a paragraph on how the team came up with the PSA Ideas!!

Grading is as follows:

     The Public Service Announcement must use a minimum of 20 pictures or video clips

     PSA must be no less than 1:00 minute in length and no more than 2:30 minutes in length

     PSA must have smooth transitions between pictures

     PSA must use at least one piece of music.  If more, smooth transitions between sound bites

     PSA must have at least 3-4 facts about your topic
    
     PSA must be published as a movie file and viewable by Media Players

Following is the grading outline:
          25 points for neatness (smooth transitions)
          25 points for completeness  (All items present)
          10 points for within time limits
          30 points for group response sheets evaluation
          10 points for leadership review by Mr. Scribner

Introductory Paragraph:  Your thoughts and opinions on the article and 3 supporting reasons you thought that way.

Supporting Paragraphs:  Expand on the supporting reasons you have for your opinions and thoughts.

Conclusion Paragraph:  Summarize your opinion and offer some wrap-up questions for discussion.  Bring the response to and end and review it!

PROUD OF EVERYONE!!

All of my students are doing a fantastic job of staying on task, finishing your work, and generally following the rules of our classroom!!  Great Effort So Far!!  I am also impressed with the response to our new PEER MENTORING RULE!  You are helping each other and teaming up to complete tasks better than I have ever seen in this school.  Keep up the good work!!
